If you want to build a muscle then you have to take high carbohydrates. so your carbs intake will be 2 grams a carbohydrate per pound body weight. For example if your weight is 180 pound so you'll have to take three hundreds of carbohydrates through the day.you have to take more carbohydrates to build muscle only then will your calories intake you will be able to the surplus. And to gain lean muscle you have to take the complex carbohydrates like sweet potato, brown rice brown bread, fruits, porridge etc.
You have to lift heavy weight while workout to build muscle. you have to increase the weight on every set. And rep range is less then ten and you have to lift so much weight by which you take out
six ,seven or eight rep.
